Champions Academy of St. Lucie County is where academic excellence, character, and purpose come together to prepare boys for lives of leadership.
Tuition is free for ALL students who enroll for the 2026/27 founding class.

Our mission is to develop extraordinary young men who are unique in their abilities and understanding. We strive for excellence by comprehending each student's specific needs and instructing accordingly, surpassing conventional education to exceed expectations.
We envision a rigorous and enjoyable academic environment that challenges and inspires our students to become extraordinary young men through ethical character development, creativity, critical thinking, and a mastery of core knowledge.
Champions Academy of St. Lucie County admits students of any race, color, national and ethnic origin to all the rights, privileges, programs, and activities generally accorded or made available to students at the school. It does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, national and ethnic origin in administration of its educational policies, admissions policies, scholarship and loan programs, and athletic and other school-administered programs.
Small class sizes allow teachers to understand each boy's unique strengths, learning style, and needs.
Daily emphasis on integrity, respect, responsibility, and leadership.
Hands-on projects, problem-solving activities, and opportunities for creative expression.
A strong foundation in reading, writing, mathematics, science, history, and social studies.
Structured daily opportunities to move, keeping boys focused and engaged in the classroom.
We combine rigorous core instruction with personalized attention in a supportive, boys-focused environment.
We begin with a small Kindergarten cohort of approximately 10–12 boys. The daily schedule features:
45-minute blocks in literacy, math, science, and social studies, followed by 15 minutes of supervised play to help boys reset and stay engaged.
One full hour of purposeful, skill-building P.E. every day, developing coordination, strength, teamwork, and healthy habits.
30 minutes of rhythmic instruction right after P.E., channeling energy, improving focus, and building discipline through music.
Dedicated time for art, music, and character-building activities, plus two nutritious meals every school day.
Every element of our program, from balanced academic blocks to daily movement, physical education, and drumming, is intentionally designed to help boys become confident, capable, and principled individuals ready for future academic success and leadership. As the school grows one grade per year, we will expand the curriculum while maintaining our commitment to small classes and individualized support.

Champions Academy was born out of my strong, personal belief that all children should have access to a great education. The Champions Academy Foundation was created to be the vehicle that supports the mission of the school and enhances the development and well-being of each student, as well as to provide support and resources to families to help make a great education possible for every child.
My personal story, like most, has taken me down many paths that have ultimately shaped my belief that every child is uniquely gifted and carries unlimited potential. I've seen stories of brilliance and success in the least expected places, as well as tragedies and heartbreak in places it doesn't belong. Circumstance does not always dictate outcome, but without a strong educational foundation, success, in my experience, is rarely achieved.
I also believe in family. And by family, I mean whatever unit the child returns to daily for love and support. Whether it is a traditional family, a blended family, a single-parent family, a foster family, or anything in between, I believe that supporting parents, caretakers, and every family unit leads to increased confidence and greater success in children. When a student's needs are met at home, learning improves. When a student is loved, cared for, and believed in outside of the classroom, they can excel inside the classroom. And that is why our Foundation includes an Emergency Fund, to support families in times of crisis and hardship, so that children can succeed.
When I founded the Champions Academy Foundation and Champions Academy in 2026, I was guided by these core beliefs. They have been governing principles to me personally and professionally throughout my life, and they helped shape the vision for Champions Academy from the very beginning. I am humbled and so grateful for the many hands who have embraced this vision and labored alongside me to make the Champions Academy dream a reality.
Over the last thirty or so years I have had grassroots involvement with many institutions and deep commitments to individual families in the community. St. Lucie County is a place I am proud to call home to Champions Academy. If you'd like to hear more about our school, or about my work in this community over the years, I would be happy to share my stories with you. Please feel free to get in touch, I would love to hear from you.
